We're building a desktop runtime for ambient automation.
Cereal started as an internal tool to run scraping scripts reliably without babysitting them. It turned out everyone wanted it — so we opened it up, added a marketplace, and made the whole thing local-first.

01 / what
Make automation feel like installing an app, not building a pipeline. You shouldn't need a VPS, a cron job, or a degree to have your computer do small useful things while you sleep.
02 / why local-first
Your automations touch your inbox, your card, your accounts. That data doesn't belong in our cloud. Everything encrypts on-device and stays there — forever.
03 / why a marketplace
Script authors build the hard parts — reverse engineering, captcha strategies, API quirks. A 70/30 split that favors them keeps the shelf stocked, and keeps the work rewarded.
How we build.
Local by default, cloud by choice
Every feature ships local-first. If a user's data can live on their machine, it does. Cloud is opt-in, scoped, and visible.
Developers are users too
The SDK is a product. We design for people writing scripts with the same care as people running them.
Show, don't market
We'd rather ship a working example than promise one. The README is honest, the changelog is current, the Discord is open.
Plain text, plain prose
Em-dashes, lowercase nav, monospace where it earns its seat. No corporate filler — no "revolutionize your workflow."
Start automating in under 2 minutes.
Download the app. Install a script. Let your computer do what it's good at.
