Download Cereal Client

Get started with Cereal by downloading our desktop client. Available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Windows

Download for Windows (.exe)

Compatible with Windows 10 and later.

macOS

Download for macOS (.dmg)

Compatible with macOS 12 (Monterey) and later.

Linux

Download for Linux (.deb)

Compatible with Ubuntu 20.04+, Debian 11+, and other modern 64-bit distributions.

Installation Instructions

Windows

  1. Download the .exe installer
  2. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions
  3. Launch Cereal from your Start Menu or Desktop

macOS

  1. Download the .dmg file
  2. Open the downloaded file and drag Cereal to your Applications folder
  3. Launch Cereal from your Applications folder
  4. If you get an untrusted developer warning: Open Terminal and run:
    xattr -cr /Applications/Cereal.app
    This removes the quarantine attribute and allows the app to run.

Linux

  1. Download the .deb file
  2. Install it: sudo dpkg -i cereal-client-latest.deb
  3. Launch Cereal from your applications menu

  • OS: Windows 10, macOS 12 (Monterey), or a modern Linux distribution
  • RAM: 4 GB
  • Storage: 500 MB available space
  • Internet: Required for marketplace access and updates
  • RAM: 8 GB or more
  • Storage: 1 GB available space
  • Internet: Stable broadband connection
